Under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the generosity of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the State of U.A.E. and affirming the depth of fraternal and historical relations between the State of U.A.E. and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation is organizing the First International Festival of Jordanian Dates in Amman from 21 to 2 October 3 October 2018, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (MOA) and the Jordan Dates Association (JODA). The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), the Arabic Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), the International Date Palm Network (DPGN), and the UAE Friends of the Palm Society (DPFS), within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed in Abu Dhabi on 19/03/2018 between the two brotherly countries for this purpose.
