Participation in the competition categories is open to all palm growers, date producers and manufacturers, researchers, scientists and innovators in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan without exception, provided that the farmers are owners, tenants, or have long-term guarantee contracts.

All applicants for the competition categories must carefully review the conditions of participation and evaluation criteria for each category, to ensure that these conditions are met, that the criteria are complied with, and that supporting documents are submitted. All general conditions and conditions of participation for each category are mandatory for all participants and are implicitly agreed upon by the applicants. Participants shall send the files and participation form (according to the category) via the festival's email (info@jordanfestivals.com) no later than November 2024, and submit the participation form printed with the samples (according to the category) by hand at the headquarters of the "Jordan Dates Association". A date for receiving the samples will be determined later, as the evaluation committee will exclude the participations that do not meet all the conditions and standards required to apply for each of the competition categories.

Some competition categories require the competition evaluation committee to conduct a field visit to the farm or factory, so those who apply in these categories must commit to providing all facilities to conduct field visits in coordination with the committee's secretariat at the Jordan Dates Association.

Winners of any of the competition categories are entitled to nominate for any other categories the following year, and they are not entitled to nominate for the same category they won until three full years have passed from the date of winning.

A single participant is not entitled to apply to compete for more than two awards, including his family members.

The participant is not entitled to demand the return of the samples submitted in the competitions.

The right Winners are entitled to use the festival logo of the session they won (not the Khalifa Award logo) on their promotional and marketing materials, correspondence and publications.

The Jordanian Dates Competition is supervised by the Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Festival.

The Jury has the right to withhold any of the awards if the entries do not meet the required quality level or if the entries do not meet the set evaluation criteria. The decisions of the Jury are final and cannot be appealed.

Members of the Organizing Committee, the Scientific Committee or their first-degree relatives are not entitled to participate in any of the competition categories.

The winners will be awarded commemorative shields and financial rewards (worth one thousand dollars) during a ceremony held at the activities of the Sixth International Jordanian Dates Festival in Amman 2024 AD.

Entry forms for the competition for all categories must be submitted no later than August 2024
